He was very calm & clear. And in view of subsequent investigations, I would say that indeed he came to correct conclusions on my condition. It was particularly helpful that he was keen to enable me to continue dialogue after the hospital appointments which he did by giving me his e-mail. So I didn't feel that the door was shut just because I didn't have another appointment booked.

Dr Shah has been brilliant and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him. He listened to me, put my mind at rest and was reassuring even when some tests were inconclusive. In a nutshell he put my mind at rest when other doctors put my back up. Well done Benoy!

I am a Consultant Cardiologist at the Wessex Cardiothoracic Centre in Southampton General Hospital. My sub-specialty interests are in cardiovascular imaging (especially echocardiography) and valvular heart disease. I trained in the Wessex region from 2006-2014 inclusive, including a 3-year period of research in London at the Royal Brompton and Northwick Park hospitals.
